What we do?

Marvin dogs rescue and shelter is anon_profit organization that's operates on community_based donations. With your support, we provide food,shelter and veterinary care to lost and found dogs in Africa,ultimately placing them in love homes both locally and throughout the country.

  • OUR SHELTER NEEDS THE FOLLOWING.



       1. DONATIONS

  •            Donations are the most thing our shelter needs because we typically work on tight budgets and we can awalys use additional funds to provide better care for our dogs.
             Any supporter can donate in cash or check or can donate online in most cases. Supporting our organization we will enable us to rescue more stray animals.
        2. TOYS 

  •                All animals love toys, so donate any old or new pet toys to keep these poor dogs entertained and happy. 
  •              Make sure to donate clean toys or toys that can be disinfected and washed frequently.
      3. DOG FOOD AND TREATS 

  •              The biggest chuck of our shelter's budget is spent on food and treats. It's because we have many animals to feed and we rescue many injured animals. Donate dog food or treats to make a difference.
     4. CLEANING SUPPLIES 

  •             Cleaning up after dogs it's not easy and requires alot of cleaning supplies. You can donate bleach, dishwashing liquid, disinfecting wipers, laundry detergent, paper towels, garbage bags, sponges, brooms, rubber and latex gloves, etc. 
  •            Even plastic shopping bags can come in handy for cleaning up dog mess for storage purpose.
    5. TOWELS AND BLANKETS 

  •           Towels are a good thing to donate because they are used both for cleaning and beddingbedding. They are also often used to line the bottoms of cages. Blankets are needed for bedding and to keep animals warm when necessary.
  •          These items don't need to be in perfect condition, so any old blankets and towels will do just fine, as long as they are usable.
     6. GROOMING SUPPLIES 

  •           Animals in our shelter are groomed often to stay healthy and beautiful. Also most of the animals that come here for the first time are dirty and have long, thick fur that needs to be cutted and washed.
  •         There are many grooming products you can donate, such as shampoos, combs, brushes, nail clippers, hair cutting scissors, etc.
     7. CRATES AND CARRIERS 

  •             Crates and carries are expensive, so donate your old ones that are in good condition or buy a new one to donate.
  •              This can help tremendously since our shelter needs multiple crates and carries to transport animals.
      8. FOOD AND WATER BOWLS 

  •               Our shelter needs new food bowls to put out food for all hunger animals. Some bowls are used to put in water.
     9. FLEA AND TICK TREATMENT 

  •             Some animals we rescue at our shelter often have fleas and ticks and require treatment. But we treatment them as soon they are admitted to prevent further infections, and this means we awalys need flea and tick treatment products.
      10. TOILET SUPPLIES 

  •               Dogs that we rescue at our shelter are often not house trained and our shelter don't have enough staff to take dogs for walks as often as necessary. These leads to many accidents and things like pee pads or indoor toilets can help.
  •                We also need litter boxes and litter bags because they are mostly used by dogs and we can also train our dogs how to use them.
        11. NURSING BOTTLES 

  •                If you a puppy or a kitten that is all grown up now, you can donate nursing bottle to save our puppies. We rescue puppies and awalys they need nursing bottles.
       12. OFFICE PRODUCTS 

  •               Our shelter don't just need pet supplies; we also need office products to keep everything on the admin side running smoothly. Things like pens, printer paper, staples, sticy notes, and other office supplies are almost awalys needed.


IN CONCLUSION 

           You can help our rescued animals to live at our shelter as their forever home by donating money and supplies. Our shelter can also run less stress, even on our tight budgets when we are receiving your donations.
